Chocolate "O" Dark Chocolate Decadence Shakeology

This is easily the most DECADENT Dark Chocolate I've ever tasted. The thing that is so incredible to me is that I get to intensely enjoy one or two of these tall glasses of chocolate awesomeness every day which takes care of my sweet tooth and does an enormous amount to help me feel my best every day. Life is wonderful!

Dark Chocolate "O" Decadence Shakeology

1 scoop Chocolate Shakeology (usually for Breakfast)

1/5 cup frozen blueberries OR Strawberries (I go by site I don't actually measure this)

2 ice cubes (place in blender or beaker before water)

10 oz of cold water (You control how chocolaty you want it with the amount of water you add so play with that)

Optional: Shakeology Boost: The Fiber

Or Try 1/2 serving of Shakeology Twice a Day instead of 1 Full Serving once a Day and make Shakeology pay for itself twice! My users save between $200 and $500 a month in groceries while paying only $90 for Shakeology with the 25% discounts. (Ask me how if you're interested)

Blend and Enjoy! (If you'd rather a milk chocolate than a dark chocolate use milk instead of water)

My first thought at first taste was "mmmm VERY Refreshingly Delicious! This is Chocolate "O"!!!. The frozen blueberries OR strawberries and chocolate compliment each other so unbelievable well in a refreshing even invigorating way. As with any Shakeology recipe you can optionally add Shakeology Boostto get even more fiber in your diet and you can optionally add Mills Ground Flaxseed to get more healthy fats in your diet. If you don't already have shakeolgoy, either GreenBerry or Chocolate, you can get it at Heaven In A Glass. Chocolate Covered Cherry Shakeology Recipe by Melanie Bolen

Here is how Melanie does it. The ONLY two things I do differently is I use half scoop of Chocolate Shakeology and half tbsp of Maple Syrup. If you haven't ordered Shakeology yet get it here: http://HeavenInAGlass.info and if you want the 25% coach discounts just call me and I'll walk you through that. This really is VERY good...

From Melanie:
I've found a new love!!!!! My favorite candy ever is a good ol' fashioned Chocolate Covered Cherry (the kind from an actual candy store... not those drug store brand ones), so I wanted to translate that to Shakeology. I believe I've done it, by jove!!!! If you try this, let me know what you think! :-)

CHOCOLATE COVERED CHERRY SHAKEOLOGY

INGREDIENTS:

*1 scoop of Chocolate Shakeology (or one single serve packet)
*8 ounces of Original Almond Breeze almond milk (*note* SILK brand almond milk will make it thick/pudding like... use Almond Breeze)
*9 pitted and halved Bing Cherries
*1 tbsp of Joseph's All Natural Sugar Free Maple Syrup
*Ice to taste

My Non White-Man recipe for Authentic Guacamole :-)

equipment needed: Just an authentic Molcajete and pestle

Ingredients:
2 RIPE avacados. They need to be black on the outside
1 plum tomato
2 or 3 cloves of fresh garlic
1 or 2 stalks of fresh green onion with the bulbs and roots
some fresh cilantro
Fresh ground pepper
1/2 of a lime
some olive oil, extra virgin
1 Jalapeno pepper Optional
Some salt Optional

Instructions:
Start by coating the molcajete with some olive oil and then grinding up the the cilantro, garlic, and green onion in the molcajete with the pestle. If you want to give it more 'kick' then add 1 jalapeƱo. Add chopped or diced tomato and grind some more. Add avocados. This video shows how to easily remove the skin and seeds: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eGd6GfHG77I If you use ripe avocados you won't even need to make any criss cross cuts you just simply scoop out the avocado with a spoon into the molcajete it takes just two seconds to do. Mash the avocado halves in the molcajete with the pestle and stir everything together. Squeeze your half lime into the mix and stir again. Some people like adding salt; I do not so I left it as optional. Add one of the avocado seeds to help reduce browning. The lime juice will also keep the guacamole from browning. Serve with organic chips, bread, pita bread, anything you want for dipping and enjoy the heck out of it I know you will :)

CORRECTION: I'm told by a reliable Hispanic friend of mine that olive oil and green onions aren't a Mexican thing. So as it turns out this is a hybrid guacamole of classical Mediterranean and Mexican. Even BETTER :-)

Grilled Chicken and Beans for Dinner... or Lunch!

Absolutely Delicious!  Just another dish that goes to show that eating real food tastes sooooooo much better than junk food.  Try this one out...

1 Chicken Breast
1 Can Organic Black Beans
Sliced Baby Portabella Mushrooms
Lime Juice
Extra Virgin Olive Oil
Fresh Cilantro Chopped
Fresh Garlic Chopped
Sea Salt
Fresh cracked Peppercorn
Sweet onion
Fresh Broccoli Stalk

1. Make lime sauce. Get a bowl out and mix in some lime juice and olive oil.  The ratio of lime juice to olive oil should be about 4:1.  Mix in a pinch of sea salt, some fresh ground pepper corn, fresh chopped garlic, and fresh chopped parsley to taste and stir.

2. Make the beans!  Get out a medium sauce pan.  Drain and rinse a can of organic black beans and poor the beans into the sauce pan.  Add about a forth cup of chopped sweet onions, just a pinch of sea salt and fresh cracked peppercorn to taste, slice or chop up a few baby portabella mushrooms and stir all together on a low heat.

3. Grill the Chicken!  Place thawed chicken breast(s) on the grill and cover.  As the chicken cooks; baste both sides with the lime sauce.  About half way through put some of the sweet onion on the grill in large slices along with the broccoli still on the stalk away from the bulk of the heat.  Baste the onion and broccoli stalk with the lime juice.

Put it all together and serve!

Tilapia Fillet sandwhich - Grilled

This afternoon I didnt have a lot of ambition to make anything complex so I just decided to throw together an easy fish fillet sandwhich. I was taken by surprise at how delicious my quick "throw everything together and hope it tastes good" was!

- 1 wild caught Tilapia Fillet
- Raw Spinach
- 1 slice of sweet onion
- Sea Salt
- Fresh ground cracked peppercorn
- Hellmans mayonnaise
- Two slices of Arnolds Potato Bread
- Extra Virgin Olive oil

I grilled the Tilapia in my foreman grill, brushed some extra virgin olive oil on both sides and salt and pepper to taste. I lightly toasted the two slices of arnolds potato bread then spread some hellmans mayonnaise on only one of the two pieces of lightly toasted bread. Last but not least I added the raw onion and raw spinach leaves and viola! Probably the best tasting fish sandwhich I've ever had before. Try it out and enjoy :)

Salmon Ginger with Fresh Broccoli

Want the easiest and one of the most tasty ways to make salmon? Try this out!

I never measure this stuff out. You just know how much to use as you prepare it...

- Salmon Fillet - Wild caught only NO farm raised
- Fresh ground Ginger
- Sea salt
- peppercorns freshly ground
- 2 or 3 Cloves of Garlic chopped
- Broccoli
- Olive oil, extra virgin OR non stick spray

In a medium sauce pan heat up some oil or non stick spray and add wild salmon over low-medium heat. Flip salmon when half way cooked; add salt, pepper, and ginger to taste on both sides. Add chopped garlic and broccoli to the same pan as the salmon for only the last couple of minutes to minimize nutrient destruction of the broccoli. You can lightly add salt and pepper to the broccoli if you would like. That's it! Serve and enjoy. Believe me you WILL enjoy this ridiculously simple and tasty dish :)

My mouth is Salivating as I eat this while I share this recipe with all of you ;)
